My E55 is completely stock with 28 K. I was thinking about going to 84 mm pulley, tune and and a Bosch 010 IC pump. Can anyone recommend a good shop in the Chicago area? thanks!

Zealous Performance in Villa Park did good work for me and was priced reasonably.
I've been using Fluid MotorUnion for years, but they're a hike from the city, out here in Naperville. I also have another smaller Indie shop that I've been going to. One mechanic, used to work at the local dealership. If you don't mind the drive, there are a few more shops popping up here and there in DuPage County. There's also PerformanceWerks in Aurora, never had them work on my car, so I can't really vouch for them.
Fluid Motor Union is what Alex Palmeri of Legit Street Cars on Youtube recommends. So you couldn't go wrong using them.
