‘97 C4S, ‘00 B4000, ‘03 Z06, ‘05 E55
All audio muted
Car is a 2005 E55, factory oe audio, battery in the trunk replaced late last year. Drove it every day last week to work, 44 miles each way. Hasn’t been started since last Friday, upon startup this morning no error codes, messages or lights. Also no sound, all sources, radio, cd and phone... speaker mute icon is on, Tried pulling the three fuses for a soft reboot at lunch, not successful. Quiet 88 mile commute later, I’ve searched here and elsewhere without any info found. Car will be on a smart charger for at least 12 hours tonight, then I’m hoping to log in here and have more input / ideas on how to fix this.

Well that’s pretty disappointing people, one of only five threads on the first page with no response. I took a shower this morning... and tried to include any info someone more knowledgeable would find useful, were they to try and help me. So, the car has fully charged batteries, the mute icon still on, and I’m still hoping for help. From anyone. Please.

Just seen this, I would disconnect the battery for 10 mins. Basically, your doing a hard reset. Hopefully having the battery disconnected will return everything back to normal, or course you might have to reprogram your stations.
