w212 2011 AMG 6.3 original mirror blinker.
Good afternoon, I have losted a similar thread in a non-AMG section on the platform and I was not able to get any amswers.
I have a w212 E63 AMG, 2011 model.
I recently noticed that the bliner on the mirror doesn't work and later found out that it's just the bulb and that it would be cheap to replace.
I paid my local mechanic a visit to order a nee bulb and the funny thing that on that system to get a car part like that, it comes as whole pqckage, so basically to replace the bulb the whole mirror has to be changed and that costs 1000 $
I thought something might be fishy so I took a trip to the official dealership abd they did confirm that to replace such a minor issue on the w212 6.3 AMG, you need to rrplace the whole carbon mirror with another one.
I was wondering, can't I order or salvage just a regular bulb from w212 and replace it?
Did anyone encounter such issue?

I believe it’s a LED diode setup and not just a simple single bulb like a 194 bulb size.
now you could either replace the whole housing or just remove the turn signal housing part from a parts car.
or order the turn housing from China
