Reset / relax parking brake slack adjuster
2004 E55 AMG
I replaced the rear wheel bearing, and when putting the brake shoes back in, the slack in the emergency cable was taken in by the adjuster. I removed the heat shield over the drive shaft in front of the differential, but the cables are forward from that location. The next shield forward has nutplates on the bottom, so it must be removed from the top. I pulled the back seat, and there's no access panel there.
I tried driving, and the emergency brake is dragging. How do I release the tension in the cable?
