hard start when warm

Hey guys, i’ve recently come into contact with a hard start when the engines warm, takes ~5 slow revolutions to start. i have to let it sit for about an hour because sometimes it just won’t start. but when jumped with a jump box it starts like nothing. that’s what confuses me. unsure if it’s fueling, voltage reg, battery, any ideas before i mindlessly throw money would help. i run about 11.9 volts off, ~13 running and it goes back to around 11.9 when off.

Does it sometimes crank once stop for a second then crank again?

did that a couple days ago with a bosch one from fcp cause it was pretty simple and cheap, took me 20 minutes but wasn’t the culprit

Hi, it seems that it is normal for "long starting" on the GL450 (2013) I replaced all my camshaft sensors and my batteries were tested at the MB dealer with them being fine. You stated that you changed out your starter and it ended the problem, has it held up? Has the problem returned?
