What color e55??
It is official: were getting an e55. This is my first post on this board. What exterior and interior color options should we get?
Also any options on the car worth considering? How is the Nav system?

I prefer silver personally for low maintenace as well as the nice and sharp contrast against the interior charcoal.
However, if I were to order the pano roof, I would probably go for a darker color.

My '02 E55 was tectite, and while it was a great color it wasn't a "clean color". I like colors that glisten and gleam.
I got my '03 in black and I have to say it is just awesome. The E55 looks so much more aggressive in black I can't imagine myself having it in any other color. The only other color I really like it in is white, and that's because it looks really classy on the 55's body.
Shop arond and take a look at the colors in person, today's paints are often not well represented in photographs on the internet, you really need to see them in person.

Definitely the way to go!!
My E55 has the nav which I really like a lot and I tell you worth the money. Out of all the different models mercedes has, the nav screen and buttons on the E55 are the cleanest and appealling..

If you choose a light color be careful about the panorama roof.
Look at some pics first. I think the black roof on a light car detracts significantly from the overall appearance.
Common, but very hard to beat the look of a black MB sedan of any type.
BTW the Jade Black has a fair amount of green in it. There are some decent pics of virtually every color in the archives.

Color - White is fantastic.
PLUS, if you ever need body work, it's one of the best colors to blend (according to paint technicians)... I know first hand: picking mine up on Monday after having rear passenger side door repaired and blended.
NAV unit: get it - you'll use it, and will never know how you did without one... just came back from the Outer Banks yesterday, and hit a backup in Hampton Roads - unfortunately I was in my Wife's truck (without NAV), and could not simply detour off 664 without fear of getting turned around/lost.
-my $.02 (too cheap to adjust for inflation....)
