E55 AMG

2003-06 Facelift to 2007-09

Hi guys,

I want to upgrade the look of my E55, I will do this tastefully.

I love the look of the E63 AMG front end: Bumper with pointed lines and side grills looks very aggressive (OEM)
I am also looking at the more aggressive front lights (OEM)

What I am not to sure about, can I fit the facelift OEM grille to my 2003?
I can see each grille is attached by 6 screws but new facelift grill looks like the screws may be slightly on a curve where as my model they seem to fit straight.
Website often say these are not compatible - I would like to know how to over come this and would welcome any advice

(I will keep all original parts for my car in secure storage so I can reverse back at any stage)

My car as it is currently. Beautiful but no where near the aggressive look of the newer model That said the rear of this car for me is much better looking, as is the interior and I prefer the 5.4 Supercharged engine Just need that front end to look more aggressive

The more aggressive OEM look I want to achieve I would get an OEM grill when I know the facelift fits then get painted gloss black

I wouldn't say it works plug'n'play if I wouldn't be sure of it.

What you see below is my E55 (and not E63)

May I ask how you coloured your front grill?
Or did you buy it that colour?

I am thinking buying OEM in silver and getting sprayed gloss black
