Adding another oem H/E

Hello everyone I have a CL55 amg and as some of you know the stock heat exchanger setup is a little different then on other m113k cars anyways my friend is parting out his S55 amg and I was wondering if it would be good to add his stock lower heat exchanger to my m113k. I have been planning on getting a plm xl or vrp v2 but you have to cut quite a bit of the bumper on the CL's for it to fit. Any heat exchanger I add will be run with my stock heat exchanger as I do not have it at the bottom like the E class does.

Here is a video showing the CL and S heat exchangers:

Also correct me if I am wrong about anything. I am not sure if the S class only has 1 oil cooler.

So my plan is to take the bottom heat exchanger from the s class and run it with my stock CL heat exchanger very similar to how the stock S class brings two of them from factory. I want to do this so I can run a smaller pulley.

If there is room do it. The E55 has very little room. You can also add an under the hood tank. Really depends on how you drive the car, what temp. And if you go back to back runs or close to it.

Rip everything out and put a custom cooler in there. Might be a better way who knows.

Do you think there is room for a VRP secondary heat exchanger? I run one on my CLS55 in series with the stock heat exchanger and IAT stays around 10F over ambient along with a 010 pump.

I was thinking the same thing. VRP should be able to answer that

I don't really want to do a tank, I think with two heat exchangers and a split cooling kit with more capacity I should be good for how I drive it.

No it does not look like there is enough room since the stock one is already there and it would defeat the purpose if I put both heat exchangers back to back. If I put one anywhere it would be the bottom where the E class has theirs since my stock one is not there.
