Rpm ecu and tcu question!
Hey guys I have a raceiq tune installed and the rpm limit was raised a little I suppose but its still a good safe amount, I think it would be around 6.7-6.8? correct me if I am wrong.
Anyways I found someone selling a tcu tune for a good price and I want to buy it but one of the reasons he is selling it is because on S mode the car would shift at 6.9k and in M mode it can rev to 7k rpm I think thats a little too much for the m113k but isn't the rpm limit determined by the ecu tune not the tcu tune?
I wanna get this tune for the quicker shifts and faster kick downs but I don't want my car shifting at 7k rpm. Does the tcu rpm limit overwrite the ecu tune rpm limit?
Thanks!

dtk and vtech are different people, someone literally said this on facebook a couple days ago and they both said they don't know each other. Yes I know raceiq is good but what controls the rev limiter the ecu or tcu? if the ecu is set to 6.5k and tcu to 6.9k what will happen?

Reach out to forum member Zerocat101. He sells a TCU tune for the 722.6 trans and you can opt for higher rpm limits and also different rear end gear ratios. His website is here:

i just bought one and cant wait to try it out! Very good reviews!

Just email him and mention it. I'm sure if u tell him you have the stock diff he can work it out. With the work he's doing I imagine he has ready access to that information..
I would say zerocat over raceiq tcu zerocat has so many happy customers since he showed up that have been modding on here for years and I think he's blown every other tcu tune out of the water! Ecu and tcu tune by sane company isn't necessary.
