I tried searching through the forum to find out if these wheel/tire sizes work on our w211 e63 car. It seems this offset is higher than what people have used. Please let me know if this combo works!

255/40/19 & 275/40/19
19 x 8.5 and 19 x 9.5

According to Tire Rack, they recommend a 245/35-19 (F) and a 275/30-19 (R) for 19" wheels.
The tires that your asking about are 40 Series, which are tall for your 8.5 and 9.5 inch wide 19" rims.

The tires might be too tall, and most likely will rub on the rear fenders, or turning lock to lock. Give the tire experts at TireRack a call.
