The other kit mentioned here has some serious heat issues, Even the stock IC has proven to outperform it especially at this boost level. The car went back to the dyno BTW, the new numbers are IMPRESSIVE, This time with a custom intercooler and race E85.

Got any pics of the custom intercooler? Thanks to TÜV I'll never be able to drive a Whipple here, but a custom I tercooler would be well hidden under the supercharger. I couldn't find any intercoolers on your website...

Neither VRP or Weistec kits are trash, both good kits and last I checked they are both Whipples. I don't understand all the trashing of these companies which give us options. I haven't purchased anything from Weistec or VRP but have talked to both. Phil at VRP was helpful and answered a bunch of questions for me when I was just looking for an E55.
First off i never said wesitec was trash,, other note is that the stock intercooler can't keep up with the stock blower so what makes it so different now that vrp is using the stock cooler under that kit..I had the wesitec kit before and the quality and service is unmatched vrp..Wesitec kit is not much more money then the vrp ,call wesitec and you''ll be surprised on how much you can actually buy one for.

Not saying if you have a bad experience speak out but constant hammering seems to be of no purpose. Just my 02.

This car went back to the dyno with an upgraded IC and Meth, we will release the numbers soon. All we could say was GOD DAMN. built motor time for sure, obliterated our first record.

Car made 720WHP with the following changes:
62 lower, 180 upper, (23PSI)
One off Dual Core intercooler
Ice
Killer Chiller
Car reached 126* peak
Keep in mind this is on a Gen 2 Whipple.
Going back with a Gen 4, 105mm TB, and Methanol. Looing for 800whp
Car made 720WHP with the following changes:
62 lower, 180 upper, (23PSI)
One off Dual Core intercooler
Ice
Killer Chiller
Car reached 126* peak
Keep in mind this is on a Gen 2 Whipple.
Going back with a Gen 4, 105mm TB, and Methanol. Looing for 800whp

Still wanna see killer chiller or interchiller and meth. No HE no other random one off intercooler or whatever. You will have to have meth to keep the top end cool and avoid timing pulled.
