Recently purchased 2004 e55 amg everything has been fine had to do some light upgrades but now the air suspension everyone has warned me about had happened, car makes very loud noise on start up trying to air up the front left bag very loud noice and will not air up all the way just tells me stop driving and visit workshop. Anyone had this problem in the past if so what did you do to resolve it. Thank you
Advice to you. Use advanced search feature under drop down threads menu upper right. There is a plethora of air suspension threads. You'll even find a day-old post by me with tech documents for the air suspension. The car is complicated. Search, read, and learn about the systems and you'll answer most of your own questions. I very strongly suggest you search on "fuel pump relay maintenance" and "fuel pump replacement verify parts" before your car leaves you stranded on the side of the road.
