Driver Air Bag
My driver air bag will pop the SRS light almost every year or two for the last 6 years. I get a code for driver SQUIB module high resistance.
I would unplug the air bag, replug and clear code. This time no go after many attempts. Cleaned connections and sprayed contact cleaner on them so I am assuming maybe the air bag itself is causing high resistance. I can manipulate the code by unplugging the connectors. So with both connectors off, high and low resistance, with the one yellow connector plugged in just the green connector faults and than plugged back in still the green connector high resistance.
Air bag done ?? Anyone have this ? I am using STAR to clear code.
Update. After screwing with it for an hour I decided to carefully scrape the air bag terminals and create a new contact and light instantly went off when cleared. I will pop in a new / used air bag for the hell of it so this will stop.
