Looks like I may need to replace my battery. Just curious if everyone has any recommendations? Stick with Genuine Mercedes? Go with say Champion or Duralast?? OEM MB is over $300. Also, anyone know where the date code is? Is it on the negative terminal?

I checked around my area and not too many places sell a battery for my 08 E63.

Make sure whatever you buy is an AGM battery and you should be ok.

I’m not advising you to buy an OEM battery, but for me my battery lasted 11 years compared to the typical battery life of about 4-5 yrs. So, purchased another one from Mercedes. But as long as it an AGM, then your good to go. 👍🏽

Production date is on the negative terminal on MB batteries. First two digits are the week and last two digits the year (eg 4309= 43rd week of 2009)
