FCP Euro, PartGeeks.com, Amazon, Pelican Parts Just do a search on the web.
And I hate the state the obvious, but the dealership should have it also.

I have tried all those websites and more with no-avail. This item is discontinued and dealership, including warehouses in Germany don't stock them any more. Don’t know why they would discontinue a dipstick for this platform

You just might have to go with whatever part the dealership recommends, as I'm only finding that this is a discontinued part.

This place is a joke.
Yep, MB no longer sells the dipstick for the C63 or E63. Crazy.

Posting here as well as marketplace ad.

Here ya go bud,

Give these guys a call, they're parting out an '07 E63, sure the dipstick is still in the old girl.

Also may want to cross reference the part number and see if the 2012 motor uses the same dipstick, here's another donor.

Good luck.

The red indicator on the bottom of the stick is cracking. I’d rather replace it but looks like I may be out of luck temporarily.

Mine is actually doing the same, just slightly, but I may be on the hunt for one sooner than later as well.

Better to be proactive

Just thinking out loud here..... What about putting some JB Weld on it, or would that eventually contaminate the oil.
What, I do know is that you definitely, don't what the little red plastic piece to breaking off, and getting lodge in the oil pump pick up.

JB Weld is a two part apoxy, when mixed together gets super hard. Dam near impossible to break or separate, after it has cured.
That was the reason, I mentioned it in the first place.
