battery is dying. airmatic is the problem.
hi. i did some work on the car (replacing inner tie rods) and since then, the car drains the battery at a high rate (70mA or so total load (i put an ammeter in line with ground of the battery))--the battery dies over two days. i've tested the fuses by looking at voltage drop across the fuses that are located next to the steering wheel and all of the load (that is significant) is from weight sensing or airmatic. i do not know what to do after testing. the car suspension worked ok before then. the suspension works well now, too. however, even after sitting alone by herself, the car is using a lot of power for the three circuits (or those three fuses) without any external influence. this has destroyed the original battery (which lasted from 2007 until now) and is doing it to the replacement. i am lost at this point. is it the battery control module? or some airmatic control module? does anyone know? i am not particularly wealthy and do not want to go to a dealer.
