Renntech Stage1 update

Well, the car seems to be getting more powerful the more I drive her. AWESOME power compared to before...downside, the additional Torque made it that much harder to launch properly (if that even existed in this car). I wish the car had LSD and now I'm actively looking for a company that offers that. It is almost a must if Stage 1 is done on it.

I wonder how the EVO headers will do in combo with Renntech stage 1.

I will post pics of the car once I get the HREs. Also, I got pedals installed and man what a PITA it was to do the gas pedal.

Anyone looking to install pulley on their own, let me know and I will try to give you as much instructions as possible since my Engineer and I did the install ourselves. I highly recommend getting the car on a lift.

Sounds great! I can't wait to get either the kleemann, evosport or renntech stage 1 ( ecu/pulley). I know that Kleemann makes a LSD for our w211 e55. Check it out. I don't know the price.

Can't wait to see your pics!

First remove the air intake assembly and related tubes.
Unbolt the center radiator support piece. (six screws)
Remove the plastic flooring under the engine (three pieces with screws)
Unclip the electric fan and snap out (from the clips on the fan) the hoses connected to the bottom of the fan. None of the hoses have to be removed just unclipped and moved. Snap off the electric fan harness and slip the fan out.
Remove the access hatch under the car in the bell housing and remove one bolt from the torque converter. Replace bolt with a longer bolt to lock the engine from spinning.
Remove belts and loosen bolt in crank pulley with a breaker bar. Pulley can be pried off using two screw drivers it is not a tapered pulley hence a puller is not required.
Replace with new pulley and torque to 200 foot pounds. Than tighten bolt another 90 degrees because it is a “stretch” bolt.
