E55 paddle shifters button replacement.

I just bought a 2006 E55 AMG with 42,000 miles on it.
overall it’s in good shape but does need some cleaning up.
One of the issues is the minus button (left side) on the front of the steering wheel popped off. Is there a replacement button I can order and glue onto the wheel or am I out of luck?
thanks for the help.

When looking in epc the front +/- emblems seem to have no partnumber.

I think your best bet is getting a used steering wheel and take it from there or upgrade your steering wheel.

I might consider that. Also a family member owns a machine shop so we might fabricate a replica in that case.

I love my g paddles. Much better feel over the stock buttons. But if your housing is damaged you'll need a used one to swap out.

Im pretty sure he means the little buttons on the front of the steering wheel with a + and a -, not the shifters themselves.

Ah yes, definitely read that too fast.

OP - I have an extra wheel, I'm happy to see if I can pop that button/emblem off if you want it, pm me.

Update: A member was kind enough to take a minus button off a worn steering wheel and ship it to me.
unfortunately the postal service ruined it and now I need a replacement minus button for my steering wheel.
anyone got one available?

I installed a custom Alcantara steering wheel a few years ago. And still have my old E63 Steering Wheel available.
I reused my aluminum shift paddles, but installed the Alcantara covered shift paddles on the old wheel.
So, if anyone is interested in buying, PM me if your interested. Oh, I almost forget, that includes the original airbag.
Attached, are a few photos when the new wheel was installed, but the shop still has my old wheel, just in case I ever required an airbag replacement.

Does your old wheel have the minus button on the front? I’m interested in buying it if so.

I don't have a E55, but an E63. But if my memory serves, I do believe that it does have the plus and minus on the actual paddles.
But would need to verify this, as the wheel is at the shop that installed my new steering wheel.

Here are the actual photos of the wheel that I have for sale. And as you can see, that paddle does have the minus sign on it, and the other one has the plus sign.

Completely different, but are compatible with E55. In fact some E55 owners have switched over the the E63 steering wheel.

If I read the OP post correctly. I believe he is looking for these.

Open the pic or zoom in and look at the red marks on the pic. Hopefully this helps you locate what you’re after from the forum.

yes. I don’t need a whole steering wheel. Just the minus button for the front.

Here is a picture of my steering wheel to show the issues. While most people here don’t like the stock steering wheel I actually do and want to keep it. However the empty hole where the button was is annoying. If anyone has a spare minus button around send me a message.
