I’m getting a rattling sound or sometimes chirping sound under light throttle, especially noticeable when turning. I recently did the cam adjuster plates but I don’t have a code for running lean, I’m not sure what’s going on. I have a small leak coming from the gasket around the intake Y tube but it’s after the MAF sensor.

what vehicle? E63 M156? best if you can record a video or audio clip for us to hear.

yes it’s a 2007 E63 M156 engine, it’s hard to get a good clip of it but it sounds like a rattle in a can for a few seconds. It’s got a few codes up for exhaust cam advancement as well

if you're getting a code for cam adjuster and hearing noise, its most likely the adjuster.
