Headlight Inop

Hey guys ,

I'm having trouble trying to find out what is keeping my left Low Beam Headlight from working ????
This thing is kicking my butt . I've switched bulb and igniter from the right side and there's no change .
Obviously all fuses are good to go . They are Xenon with auto leveling . Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be ?????
I hope it's not inside the headlight itself . Pricey ! Thanks in advance for the help !

Fire up xentry and do the basic diagnostics... then you'll know what's causing it..

Xentry is a diagnostic computer. It will locate where the fault lies.
Enabling you to locate the root cause of your issue. Where in VA are you located?

Great, your just a short drive away. If you would like to have it diagnosed correctly, you can bring it to Benz Elite Automotive in the Merrifield area.
These guys are the only ones, that have worked on my X5M or E63, for the past 12 years. And there prices are reasonable.

It's probably the wiring. Take the rear cap off for the low beam and look for exposed copper with a bright flashlight.

These HELLA units are complete trash.

Hey , Thanks for all the help . I've already been there though . I didn't see anything , but that's not to say that there isn't a problem in there somewhere . It's not in the greatest viewing area as you know . I'm going to order up a ballast from Amazon . $40 , it's worth the try anyway . I was hoping not to have to pull the bumper off . Oh well . That will force me to start mounting some of the other goodies I have . Killr Chillr and a monster Meizer Coolant pump . That thing is huge . Thanks for all the advice brother !! I will let you know how it goes . Peace !!
