Which Xentry das do I buy for e55? C3, C4 Help plz
can somebody help with getting the right program and laptop to diagnose my car. Is this the right Xentry and laptop for a E55 2003. I have no communication with the car except for getting codes from it. P0600. I don’t know what to get.
I planned on this unit. It’s a newer version so cost a little higher. Reason being I picked this is bc read it was a little more reliable to work with. Thinking to order in the coming weeks.

I thought the consensus was skip the C3 and start at C4 at least. However I'm still leaning toward one of the aftermarket tools since they are way more friendly to use and many of them can do all of the same bi-directional controls. They just can't program modules.
I agree with the C4 and if you are going this route get everything that is possible with it. Many of the Chinese sellers build in expiration dates that when expired you have to go back to them to get it re-activated. But, you will likely never find that seller again so you are stuck. There can be work arounds, but life gets very frustrating at that point. There are members here that can help you with all of this. Talk to more than one and see who you are most comfortable wiht to help you.
