E55 AMG
OBD2 Software for loggin...
Hello guys,

I know this has been posted several times, but I can't find anything concrete that fits what I need.

Right now I have the OBD2-USB cable that RaceIQ sent me for the tune and now I need to log my car (E55 AMG 2005), I don't know which software to use, I have seen some threads but most of those software are outdated, which software do you guys recommend ?

I'm stuck in the same boat - need to data log but anything OBD2 is way to slow to have any coherent data.

i'd be weary of any tuner that doesn't know or care about datalogging.

I've done this, the refresh rate is god awful even if you only log 3 or 4 params.

2007 Mercedes E63 AMG
i haven't used mine yet, but Innovative's OBD2 wideband logs data from the OBD2 along with logging wideband data from its own sensor for examples like this. additionally, you can install the wideband in place of the standard o2 sensor and output the signal from the innovative to your original sensor to satisfy the ECU requirements.

I use torque pro, and aem gauge that I have configured to communicate via can and pickup over torque.

I think the issue is the generic OBD-II stream is just slow. I'm not sure it has anything to do with BT. If they used CAN for the generic stream it would be a lot faster.

Can didn't have a standard until about 2006 or so, benz used a different rate per can network on the cars.
