This is my first post. Please help, My 2003 E55 rear trunk fuse #85 (5 Amp) (red circle) is draining my new battery. Batteries and Alternator is good. Got 5.2 mA (prefuse box) when vehicle in sleep mode. All hood and trunk latches closed and all door sensors pressed in. If I removed the fuse #85 voltage is normal and fire up and get 13.9-14V when warm up the car in the morning. But get SRS light but drive normal. See image for more info. check continuity get beeps in yellow removed fuse 85 (red circle), car start normal but get SRS light.

That fuse seems to be for telephone in the center console and voice control. Something with that is not going to sleep and causing the draw. Have you added any electronic devices to the car? Not sure how that might intergrate with SRS. Other's will likely chime in.
I was thinking it could also be an SOS issue. Aren't those known to go crazy and drain the battery or did I make that up? I thought SOS functionality lived with the SRS module.
All factory no after market electronics. I noticed when the car in sleep mode the CD/Cassette is making noise. So I pulled the radio, driver and passenger fuses on the interior driver side panel and still drain the battery but next morning seeing "Battery Protection Coven. Functions Temporarily Unavailable" message. Swap fully charge battery and message goes alway.
