E55 heat Sheilding?? Can reduce heat.

E55 heat Sheilding?? Can reduce heat.
What about Aliumi-coat for the headers? Would this help heat problem? Or Turbo City in Tustin California they make heat blankets and shielding. They created the Tiles under the Space Shuttle. Talk about heat???? But at Turbo City the will custom make heat blankets.
What is needed?
1) Replace current mat under hood with a Turbo City thermal blanket. Help dissipate heat.
2) Have a custom blanket made to wrap the Super charger and all related cooling hoses.
3) Wrap exhaust with blankets.
These blankets look cool too. They are a perfect fit custom made for each part and have a space suit look to them. As I recall they use similar stuff in the SLR I will go look at it again today as well to see what the MB guys wraped if any???
The blankets pull heat out and reflect heat from coming in. I will bring my car into them today and ask question. I went to high school with son and daughter, but it was 20 year ago. I am sure they will be stoked to see me. Will post what they have to say.
They have the current world record in 1/4 mile in a Grand National. Buick
