Lambda sensors, are needed for the vehicle to run properly. It is a force induction engine (supercharged) so it relies on lambda and O2 sensors. You won’t be able to disable any of that without software Capable of modifying the ecu. I recommend finding your issue and paying to change the part. Or sell the car if you can’t afford to

hello thank you for the answer! I know the problem is the catalysts which are hs but to drive with the engine light on continuously is annoying I just want to deactivate with the mercedes mbstar software which is complete the sensors in order to save time money to change them, even in Europe they are very expensive it takes around 4000 € for the price of the parts and no question of selling it I'm very happy

ok let me know, I’ve only hidden check engine on w211 e500 with star diagnostics haven’t done it on e55 but should be the same, you can also purchase catted headers for a fraction of the price of catalytic converters. Which will also give u more horsepower and help the engine breath.

ok laissez-moi savoir, je n'ai caché que le moteur de contrôle sur w211 e500 avec des diagnostics en étoile, je ne l'ai pas fait sur e55 mais devrait être le même, vous pouvez également acheter des en-têtes catted pour une fraction du prix de pots catalytiques. Ce qui vous donnera également plus de puissance et aidera le moteur à respirer.

I think he is asking about turning off the Secondary O2 sensors due to his catalytic convertors being non-functional. I do not think his is trying to turn off the primary O2 sensors. He simply wants the CEL to switch off without having to purchase new cats, as best I can tell.
I am fairly certain that this is possible in DAS, but I have not done it. Certainly some performance tunes have the secondary O2 sensors disabled, so it must be possible.
Maybe one of the guys more familiar with the software can chime in here?

Yes you can do it in STAR w/ dev mode, pretty straight forward. This quote below is from another thread and is one that I used, *please note* the code number might be different on your car depending on the year. Just look for the german words for rear catalyst in the list and you'll find the right one. If not - make note of the codes you try and switch off so they can be reverted if it doesn't deactivate the sensors, but it should be pretty clear once you're in there.

bonjour a tous ,désolé de la réponse tardive après avoir eu une page bleu sur pc ,page de la mort mon disque dur ma laché donc plus de xentry et compagnie bref réinstallé xentry et recherche de nouveau pour déscativer ces fameuses sondes .Merci a GinDistiller qui ma aiguillé avec xentry en revanche aucun code a éxecuter juste a choisir ein ou aus en allemand malheureusement j obtient une erreur quand je veux désactiver la sonde j ai comme réponse 
éfault de communication 8.561.6067 et après un peu de lecture sur le net il semblerais que je n ai pas d' accès a cause du mode développeur sur xentry et la je n ai aucunes idées pour passer en mode développeur !voila ou en sont mes recherches aujourd'hui encore merci a tous pour votre aide.

bonjour après de long mois je reviens pour fermer ce topic !j ai réussi a désactiver les sondes mais après quelque temps le voyant c est rallumé ? donc j ai réitéré la commande pour désactivé les sondes et la plus moyen le start m envoyais un code erreur donc j ai commandé une demi ligne inox via usa
avec catalyseur ,montage essai ,une sonde avant catalyseur hs donc je l ai changé et maintenant un son mélodieux et plus de voyant voila,je voulais remercier tout le monde pour vos réponses et votre aide grace a vous j ai résolu mon problème encore merci.
