E55 AMG bogs at high speed
Hey guys, just picked up an 04 E55 AMG, and while I was opening it up on the highway, it seems when the car hits around 140 it bogs severely and the rpms are stuck, and the car won’t accelerate anymore, any ideas what I could be, I’ll upload a video of it

I mean my oil temps look normal, but you think the coolant pump for the heat exchanger, would cause it just to not accelerate anymore, I thought it was something transmission related, like the conductor plate

When intake air temperatures rise too high the motor electronics disengage the supercharger. When that happens it feels like the car falls on its face.
If you have a star diagnostic system it is an easy check under the motor electronics module where you can verify operation of the coolant pump for the heat exchanger.
