P0410 - Help/Suggestions
Since we picked up our 2004 E55 a month ago, we've been constantly hitting our head against the wall trying to solve P0410 causing a CEL. We're aware that it can be deleted, but we prefer to fix it first. We just can't seem to wrap our head around what could possibly be throwing the code. We have:
Replaced the Pump and Relay, and checked that it is running on start up. It's running, and it's audible. So the pump is actually working.
Checked the air hoses, air is getting through fine, so we don't believe there is a blockage
The shut off valves visually look okay.
We had our specialist look at the issue, they ran a test on STAR, and came back suggesting we replace the battery, since there were other issues aswell as that being caused by it. Fair enough, the battery in there was pretty shot anyway, since it struggles to even run the starter after a few days sitting, so, purchased a new battery, fitted it, other issues were resolved, and now it actually holds a charge. Didn't make the code or CEL go away, though.
We're aware of a 40 amp fuse in the fusebox, but we haven't checked this - We don't feel we need to as the pump is actually running, and air is running through it.
Any other suggestions on what to check? We have it booked in for another inspection on this system with our specialist in 10 days, but if there's anything that we can try in the meantime, I would greatly appreciate it,
