Need Help Please!!!
Guys:
My car went into the shop 3 weeks ago for the following problem; when the car shifted from 2nd to 3rd it was dying and on to the next gears. My car runs at 14lbs with the mods (with no NOS) that I have done, the tech at the dealer which is a good friend of mine diagnosed that the car was droping to 7-8lbs once it reached 3rd, he told me it feels like an E500 or less. Since this diagnosis they have changed the following; Superchager with clutch, Blow off valve, all the sensors in the S/C, Spark plugs and s/p wires, and the car continues with the problem. They are now talking to the technicians in Germany to find a solution, next tuesday I will have been a month withought my car. This really sucks
.
Please let me know any thoughts or suggestions any of you may have.
Sincerely,
Manuel

It's a good thing the tech is your friend since the ECU has been altered. Is it best he return everything back to stock before you get MB too deeply involved?

Have they ruled out any detonation going on, or for that matter the computer thinking there is detonaiton going on?
I bet a tranny problem could cause issues as well. The car backs off power when it shifts. I'm speculating here, but I bet a tranny/T.C. problem could cause the car to back off even if its not shifting.

I think the problem would be more likely to be computer related than mechanical. If it was mechanical I would expect you to have a problem in second gear as well. First is a different story as the load is lighter. Also, there could be a mechanical problem causing one of the computers to do something, but I still bet a computer is causing trouble somewhere. Does the dealer have the ability to log data while operating the vehicle?
