Coolant breather replacement not fitting - '07 W211 E63

Hi there,

After finally fixing the oil cooler leak, my garage drip tray no longer collects a small pool of oil but now a small pool of clean coolant. We diagnosed it as a leak from the connection of the coolant breather tube; the connection is moist to touch and the hose has actually been worn down by coming into contact with the radiator fan about 10cm/4" to the left of the O clamp.

Only issue/question is the replacement part looks different to what's currently there, being about 20cm/8" longer and with a right angle bend/fitting (albeit the replacement part does look to be more appropriate than the current setup using an O clamp) . My issue is I can't find a part # for the hose connection from the engine side of the breather tube. Can anyone help with that please, otherwise would it be ok to cut the existing hose to size and connect the new breather tube?

Thanks in advance.

Current breather tube connected to hose with an O clamp. New breather tube is sitting on top for reference.

New breather tube is about 20cm/8" longer with a 90 degree bend.

New part #.
