For those who like SUPERLIGHT wheels...
I just bought a set for my C2 and the rears, 18x11 are only 18.8 lbs. They are HRE Competition C20. I got black to match my car. And Dunlop has new tires that fit our E55's too called SP Sport Race and to fit my rears were only $180 each.

My wife's C-Class is getting one of the first sets off the production line.
However, I know for a fact that they are not able to release the COMPETITION series because of they have not received the first shipment of TITANIUM BOLTS. This is the last piece of the puzzle but until they are received, they cannot officially accept orders.
I was just wondering... did you mean that you have them already, or you just placed an order with a reseller???

The Dunlop SP SSR's do not fit. There is no front fitment and a 265 in that tire will rub. It is the widest tire in that size of the few that are made. Also it is not XL rated so some say that is a issue as well (just dont load up the car I guess..)
If they made the SP SSR in a 245/40/18 i would have 4 sets of tires sitting here waiting to be used up. Its a shame!

didnt know they dont fit merc but they fit my c2. and yes, ben at wheels botique said exactly that, that they are waiting on titanium bolts expect a 2 month delay which is fine. and at 3700 seem to be a good deal. i am 2nd on the list at wb. by the way i bought lowering links for my e 6 months ago and decided not to use them and ben said no problem just send them back for a full refund. good to deal with and have all parts for all cars.
