New Fuel Pumps and fuel delivery unit installed but no Mesh gauze gaze supplied
Hi guys finally got my updated:
A2116494 Fuel Filter/ regulator LHS unit installedAnd A211470000 fuel pumps in the right hand side along with the new associated adaptor cables.
thanks to Bbirdwell et all for the useful posts.
However!!! ...The new pumps A211470000 with the male connectors, did not arrive with the small mesh sock filters on the bottom. The old ones which were dirty and possibly blocked causing the original issue of pump fuse burn out, Do NOT fit on the new pumps .
so there is only one large cylinder shaped filter inside the left hand delivery unit, is it ok to run like this ???
I can't see a way to a get mesh filter to stay on the new pumps with out the correct, moulded plastic connector for it.
Could an additional in line fuel filter be placed under the vehicle or is this not necessary ?
