Replacing Rear Axle - tips & tricks?
Hi all,
Due to a leaking axle cover, I opted for a 2nd hand axle. I contacted the dealership and the only solution they have is replacing the rear axle, which was a grand total of 1.700,- Euro. I bought a 2nd hand axle with 6 months warranty for 100 euros Any tips/tricks which I need to take into account? I will be replacing the ABS ring off course, but any other seals which I need to replace or?
Also, what is the torque setting for the axle nut?
Thanks in advance!
