Resonator question...
Can takin out the resonators be the answer to my problems. My car seems to be overheatin or seems to be alot "warmer" then others. Could that be a problem? Some of you may have heard of my problems. But when I am on the freeway and give it a good push of the throttle...maybe up to redline so it shifts on its on...I'll get to about 100 and then slow down...then I'll try it again after about 2 minutes later and the car will downshift and all but the car feels like the s/c isn't engaged. The rpms go up but the "in your seat" action isn't there? Any suggestions??? Please help!~!

4 wheeled car.
I doubt that the resonators affect your car's performance. Aren't the resonators there only to muffle the sound of the exhaust? Perhaps it plays a part in backpressure, but I would think that there's some issue w/ your S/C or something else, causing it not to engage.

This is what now becoming "classic" intercooler pump failure. Pump shut-off intermittently causing a rise in intake temperature. At 255F DME shut-off the kompressor. Once pump comes back to life, everything is normal again.
