P0715 Transmission Speed Sensor
I have a 2001 Jaguar XJR which uses the same Mercedes transmission as the W210 E55.
I'm getting a P0715 error code from the transmission when it heats up.
The error indicates a transmission speed sensor error. The outside wiring has been checked twice already so it must be the sensor(s) itself.
Can the sensors be easily replaced? Anyone done that?
My Jag dealer offered to sell me a new transmission for $7,000.
