121k preventive maintenance
My CLS 55 is approaching 121,000 miles. I’m thinking about changing the fuel injectors, thermostat, water pump, all the hoses, radiator, coolant flush, and changing the crank, pulley and seal behind it. Is this something that should be done right around this mileage? Currently don’t have any issues with any of these items, But in the last 8000 miles I’ve pretty much done all the preventative maintenance on all the major items that go wrong with these cars. Too much to list. Figured I would do these while I had an opportunity. I’m changing the crank pulley for sure, I’ve already ordered that and the tool and the seal plus bolt. This is just kind of something I thought about doing while I was already in there….

I had mine swapped out not too long ago as I had a wobble with low rpm, which I was very unsure of. I changed it primarily for peace of mind. Mine had +-190k kms on the clock. After inspection the old pulley still looked good. I was able to have a look while they were working on this and was not something I was able to do myself. There is massive torque on the bolt, so removing it and torqueing it again requires a lot of force
