My BEST run ever with a E55 amg!
Driving up the North Dallas Tollway at 12:00ish today going home, I ran into a E55 (Bone Stock) that passed me and slowed to setup a race. Cool guy late 30's early 40's.
We first tried to line up but only got to run from 70 to 100. I had to brake first so he keep going. We were dead even before I braked. So we lined up again at 60. This time we both hit it on the 3rd honk. I got a bumper on him on the launch. I was so slightly pulling that by 100 he was at my door and by 130 he was at my bumper and we both let off. He gave me a huge smile and a thumbs up and I gave the thumbs up!
We ended up at a stop light and talked:
Me: good runs
him: you too...
me: Are you stock
him: yes, are you
me: no, heads cam torque converter
him: I was suprised but I am going to get a pulley and chip.
then we pulled off.
Cool guy. I guess I definetly need the bottle cause that E55 was fast.
By far my best highway run ever!
BTW: My vette runs mid to high 11's at 118-120.
