Stupid Question
I've searched the forums and Google and I have found no definitive answer regarding the front bumper corner markers lights/reflectors. From what I've read, the 2006 MY options were different and inconsistent from all previous years.
I sold my 2006 cls55 a few years ago and finally found a nicely optioned 2006 e55 that I recently purchased. It has 82K original, verified Kms. and is in exceptional mechanical condition. I'm restoring back to pristine physical condition as it was cosmetically neglected. I'm now ordering brand new genuine parts such as, front bumper cover, side mirror covers, moldings, trim pieces, fasteners, etc.
Can someone please explain why some e55's are equipped with the front bumper amber side marker lights and some are not! Was there a certain package and or option group that include them? I realize that the reflector/light is actually on the strip molding and not the actual bumper. I'm just curious as my particular car doesn't have them and I see that most do. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you all in advance! 🙏🙏🙏
