E63vs c63 mufflers on E55

I know there are a couple of forums out there but I couldn’t find a definitive answer. I want to change out the mufflers on my 2003 e55 and have heard great things about the cls and c63 mufflers. But I haven’t seen much regarding the e63, there are a pair of e63 mufflers close by me for only 200$ and was wondering if they sound as good as the c63 and cls63?

I have mid tube headers, no pre cats, stock secondary cats and stock W211 E63 resonator and mufflers. I quite like the sound.

C63's are the loudest as they're the smallest mufflers but have a 2.75 inch inlet. CLS63 / E63 mufflers in my opinion have the best sound and aren't obnoxiously loud and have a 3 inch inlet.

So the E63 mufflers are the same as the cls63? My buddy has the cls63 mufflers on his e55 and it sounded great.

CLS63 mufflers have a longer tip (if you have an aftermarket diffuser their lenght would be perfect on the W211 though) and the sound more aggressive

Another good option is Magnaflows. They sound great on my 03 e55. Custom long tubes no cats X pipe.

All I have on my phone is a cold start. Tell me what you think would be helpful and I’ll try to get some better sound clips. It’s pretty raspy when cold before it comes out of high idle. I’m not a fan of loud, annoying cars outside of the track; this is very subtle until you put your foot in it and then it gets pretty rowdy. Hard to explain and I don’t know if I’ll be able to get a good sound clip while accelerating.
The file of my coldstart video is too large, maybe somebody can tell me how I can post some videos.

[edit]
You can post the video on other platforms like Vimeo, Imgur etc

Can’t speak for E63 or C63 mufflers (except for C63 mufflers being the loudest) but CLS55 mufflers will add a nice mean but quiet growl on cold start

I loved the C63 mufflers I had on my prior 2006 E55. I also deleted the resonator (although straight through) and just replaced with two pipes and it roared and was pitched just right - sounded like a raped ape at WOT.

The E63 mufflers are more muffled but have a deeper growl driving around and at WOT. I don't think you can go wrong either way and the factory mufflers on the E55 kill all the sound - to each their own, but my exhaust is completely stock now , maybe it's my age HAHAHA
