Need Some Urgent Help
Hello!
i purchased a 07 e63 with 70k KM (43k miles) on the clock. Its completely stock (no bolt ons) with an ECU tune done by the previous owner with the O2 sensors disconnected, when i accelerate hard in 2nd gear and let go of the gas the car jerks, accelerates, jerks, accelerates. Im not sure but i think this is called bucking? I dont know where to start and what to look for.
Secondly, sometimes when i accelerate really hard and let go of the pedal the car keeps on accelerating for a second.
There are no CEL’s or any other errors. My battery replacement is due.

Completely stock but tuned. I am still trying to comprehend that… On the serious note do you know who did the tune ? Is it custom tune or one of generic ones ? Was the car like that before the tune or has it started like that after? Was it like that when you got it ? We need more info. And you need to have your car scanned for faults.

It was like this when i got it. Ive scanned for faults and the only faults on STAR are the O2 sensor “heating element” non functioning. I dont remember the exact error. The car drives smoothly and has no problem at idling or power.
The exhaust smells a little rich but i assume thats because of the tune. How can i get the tune back to stock? It does some loud pops too when decelerating.

If you think it’s running rich I’d take it back to stock or have it re-tuned by someone that has knowledge on how to do this properly. I believe you could take it to the dealer and have it flashed back to stock. Running rich you will kill the cats quickly along other bad things that currently happen in your engine
