Hello all, has anyone tried the new Motul 8100 power (formerly Sport) series of oil that is Ester based like their 300V race oils. I have been running Liqui Moly Molygen
5w-40 oil. I don't see that that this Motul specifically states its MB229.5 spec but does say it's usable in all vehicles. In addition, I see that the 8100 power line also has a 5w-50 weight which is intriguing too.

Hello, I had not tried Motul yet. Still running the Liqui-moly Molygen 5w-40 in my CLS55 and 10w-50 in my R500 with M113 and that had helped on oil consumption since it has 179k miles. Originally Posted by E63SAMG2014
