Ever feel really stupid?

For literally nine years I've b*****d about how my sun visor, when pulled to the side on my ride home, doesn't block the sun off of me because the sun visor is too short when turned to the driver's side window. Yesterday morning, I took a second look at the d**n visor I've had for nine years and thought, "I wonder if the visor will slide on the rod?". I pulled on it, the visor slid, and it blocked the sun. It took me nine years to figure this out...

I'm going to go have a beer and b***h at the owner (me)...

Happens, we learn a new thing everyday. That said, not all MB's sun visors that slides. Some is fixed in place, others I think has double sun visiors, one large and the other small that you can unfold and then adjust to place.

My wife had a Mini Cooper S. It had tons of leg room for me (I’m 6’2) but it was like my arms were always stretched trying to steer the car. It only took 1-2 years to figure out the steering wheel was telescopic. Lol….problem solved.

Perhaps I am stupid, but I’ve had my E55 for about a yr now. For whatever reason, my high beams only work in the “fog light setting” of the lighting control. I can’t flash them or use them in any other setting. Is this normal? Am I stupid? Lol. I’ve tried searching but get lots of random lighting results. Seems very strange that they don’t work in any other setting.
