W211 M113k Oil pump issue can someone please help?

My wife's W2 live in E55 AMG Mercedes has swallowed the serpentine belt and chewed it up clogging up the oil pump. So I have already dropped the oil pan and taking out the oil pump but now I am wondering if the gears inside of the oil pump have to go back together in a certain placement I am guessing that they do because there are small stars and dots on the teeth of the gears but I am not absolutely positive as to the placement or sequence that the years are supposed to go back together in if they I have to go back together in a certain sequence at all can somebody please help me?

They do, look up xf motorsports on YouTube he has a video where he tears down an oil pump to make new, quieter pump gears.
