Supercharger clutch behaviour
I was told that the supercharger clutch on the M113K, once engaged, will stay engaged until the vehicle comes to a stop. Anyone know if this is the case for the stock engine or do tuners build this into the ecu reprograms as they see fit?

Unknown about aftermarket tuners but stock I believe correct as posted by Dan Syster on this forum. Dan is a very smart guy who can use a packet sniffer and I trust him based upon my conversations with him. Hook up a packet sniffer to your CANBUS and you can verify Dan's assertion about the stock software. Unknown if the aftermarket tuners will tell us their trade secrets but you can ask them.
No, I have not done either. Maybe someday except I have plenty of other white whales to chase.

Yes will shut off after ECU see's idle speed. You can also turn it off your self.....say if you where on the highway and you popped it into neutral, it will shut off. Just some info ....not that you would be doing this.
Also I have had at least 20 different tunes on the car and it still behaves the same.

Ok good to know. In a situation where for instance the supercharger engaged while accelerating on an on ramp or passing etc then you cruise on the freeway under light throttle there is no need for it to be engaged the entire time. Seems odd it needs to see idle rpm to disengage.
