Help...Scratch in drivers side window....

I discovered today to my shock that my drivers side window has two fine long scratches on it. I cant feel the scratch with my fingernail, so I dont really know if it is inside or outside. One is curved, and one is horizontal.

It really shows up in sunlight. Do I need to order a new window, or can it be repaired. Any thoughts?????

Don't know what kind of detailer you are, but there is a difference between a glass cleaner and a glass polish. The polish has light abrasives (used to get off highway film and smooth out very light pitting). If you can catch the scratch in your fingernail, I am fairly certain that replacement is in order but you can try a polisher used with a random orbital buffer (Porter cable is the detailer's Random Orbital Buffer of choice) Don't waste your time with the polish by hand.

good glass polish:

another good polish:

I hope this helped
