South Florida Service Center Recommendations?
Hi all,
My 2010 E 350 was subject to years of great customer service at Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables until it was flooded 5 years ago. After purchasing a 2005 E55 AMG, I called MB Coral Gables and learned my service advisor had retired. When I tried to make an appointment for the AMG, I was told the dealership "no longer accepts vehicles older than 2010 model year". . I asked once again if she must be mistaken, and was told that it would be up to the discretion of the service advisor and I would be getting a call back.
Does anyone know of any reputable shops in South Florida that specialize in our cars? I am due for a Service F, Serpentine Tensioner, Alignment. I don't mind taking it to the stealership if I receive proper care (Partly due to the warranty on the work, and for the high-tech computers I assume help with proper maintenance). Miami is known for shady mechanics and I have had sub-par experience at several "european specialty" indy shops in the past. I am extremely **** about my cars and proper upkeep, but I have no real knowledge of the mechanicals.
Thanks in advance,
Eric

Hey Eric, I've had good luck with the guys at Motoro cars with my 2019 C63s. In my experience the Coral Gables and [especially] the Fort Lauderdale MB dealers could care less about your vehicle. You can look back in my post history in relation to the issue I had but long story short MB Fort Lauderdale took about 5 weeks to figure out I had a leak in my radiator and repeatedly tried to let me leave and overheat my car. Motoro saw it, fixed it within 2 days for half the price. I've been to the Flagler and NW 79th St locations and had a positive experience each time.
