E55 - When would you do a timing chain

E55 - When would you do a timing chain
I all,
I own a pretty high mileage E55 (At the moment its sat at 227500 miles),
I've noticed that on startup there is NO rattle, and there is 0 indication in past records of the timing chain ever being done. But i put a lot of mileage on the car (2 trips every year to Germany and back to the UK)
So my question is, would you recommend me doing the timing chain ASAP? And if so, hows best to perform the maintenance? Just replace the chain (Via the rocker covers), or remove the entire engine and do chain and all the tensioners too?

I wouldn't bother unless it's rattling.
Lots and lots of m113/m113k cars out there with significantly more miles on the original chain. I have personally never even heard of one failing.
