*** Sensotronic Brake Recall Notice ***
Just wanted to let you all know that MB is finally recalling all cars with Sensotronic brakes to have a service update performed.
I received a notice on Friday stating that I should bring the car in for a software update which resolves some safety issues with the Sensotronic brakes in my W211 E55.

Already brought mine in and it was fixed in about 1 1/2 hours. I can't tell the difference.

I called MB Tampa and gave them my VIN...they told me that it was not needed for my car...

You're lucky you don't have to go through the recall.
