I’ve replace sc bearing last year I drive very little maybe 2/3k km ago but two things I’ve noticed and didn’t like
1) brown dust like corrosion residue around sc body where clutch and pulley is
2) bearing seems too noisy like going bad again - not too much but noticeable or it’s my paranoia get the best of me
I replaced it like YouTubers do - bearing in the freezer and pulley in the oven - I doubt it affects the job quality
pity I didn’t pay much attention at the very beginning at sound straight after replacing I guess it wasn’t that bad as it seems now
not that it’s very big job time and money wise but I’m quite annoyed
what it can be with that rusty dust by the way anyone ?
