2004 E55 frontal refresh... 👀
So I picked up a 1-owner all original unmolested completely stock California owned car with 50k miles earlier this year. Other than some rock chips on the hood/fenders, and a small crack on the lowest part of the bumper (repaired but just not to my standards) it is nearly perfect. As most of you know, these are extremely rare to come by like this these days.
Because of my OCD and intentions to keep this car for many years I am considering having to respray the front bumper, hood, and blending into the front fenders. New headlight lenses were done just before I got it so I'll probably get a new front grille and fender badges while also having the crack in the bumper repaired to my standard. All OEM parts of course. Has anyone else done this to make their car as perfect as possible. Any advice or suggestions as to where the cheapest place may be for OEM parts and anything else I should consider while doing this.
Car is Tectite Gray and I absolutely love driving this car on rare occasions.
Best,
T
