Vadim is right. No need to get personal. My jab at Schwarzwagen was that he wrote it as if he owned all those cars, but never said it outright...meaning his wording told me he was near items he did not own, and he was trying to infer that he owned and was more experienced than perhaps he actually is.

This discussion is getting off track so I apologize for my comment. It most certainly was not constructive and does not add to the spirit/purpose of what MBworld is trying to accomplish here. Only a friendly jab.

Let's refocus this discussion and get back on track.

1) What benefits does this EVO mod have for the car, whether performance or adding life to the car, and what other mods are there?
2) Does this mod affect our warranty, existing or extended, or both? Do the performance mfg's offer an explanation of what they view as what might void our warranty and what might not? (ie Evo package #1 looks very un-intrusive and would not void the warranty, while package #2 looks a bit high risk)

Cheers,
Gareth

He's absolutely correct. Theres no need to take this to the level it's at. We know for a fact that the mod makes a difference in engine temperature, whether it is a significant enough difference, however, is purely opinion. There should be no argument, if you don't think its practical, DONT GET THE MOD. If you do, go for it. Just please, don't pack up threads with unimportant heated debate

Hey all, sorry for the delay in posting.

So here is what we are going to do for the MBWorld community. We are going to do the first 10 kits we make ONLY to MBWorld members and do them at $149.00 vs. the retail of $349.00 that we will sell them at after the MBWorld exclusive special!

So I know that there are many interested, so here is how I would like to proceed.

1. send an e-mail to brad@evosport.com
2. make sure the subject says "K55 Spacer Deal"
3. Give me your complete shipping, billing and payment information

Or you can call me at 714.901.3100 x15

I will keep a list of the 10 members who jump, and the deal will expire on the 10th sale.

Thanks for all the interest and continued support.

Cause us 55K guys know how bad of a problem heat can be so we are willing to jump on anything that will keep it down

Thumbs up 55K spacers shipping!

FYI, I was one of those who got in on the Evosport 55K spacer deal . . . just spoke with Brad this afternoon and he said mine is shipping today.

Thanks Brad - looking forward to the install!

I noticed 16 bolt holes, how do you isolate the heat here? Can the studs or bolts eventually transfer heat as well? Same thing under the fastener?

Mmmm.....
